And serves the Southern Arizona veteran community with direct financial assistance. Unlike traditional organizations, every dollar donated goes directly into the hands of a veteran.

Our History

What began at Bernie’s kitchen table—awarding the first $100 emergency grant to a fellow veteran in need—has grown into a fully volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to serving Tucson and the Southern Arizona veteran community. Honor Charity is a 501(c)(3) founded by U.S. Army veteran Sgt. Bernie Colonna.
